GBNI are preparing to welcome the Girls’ Brigade International President, Ruth Chikasa who arrives from her home in Zambia today, Thursday 5th June 2008.  In honour of her visit and to facilitate GB members who wish to hear from and meet Ruth, GBNI have arranged two events over the weekend to which you are all cordially invited to attend.

Friday 6th June at 7.30pm-Church of God Glenmachan, Joint Celebration of Queen’s Award and International Day of Prayer.  Our Guests of Honour will be Ruth Chikasa and Lynda Bryans-GBNI Patron.  During the evening 64 girls will be presented with the Queen’s Award and there will be a time of focus on the work of GB Internationally.

Saturday 7th June at 7.00pm-An evening of GBNI Entertainment for our International President in Second Broughshane Presbyterian Church Hall.  Representative companies from all 15 NI districts have been invited to perform for the International President.
