Just back from a brillant holiday in Austria.  Had a wonderful time and feel really refreshed and energised! We had a great time exploring the areas we were staying in and had the opportunity to go on a trip along an alpine road that goes up Grossglockner (at 3,798 metres it is the highest mountain in Austria). 

Now I do not do heights very well (neither does my husband for that matter) but we just wanted to experience the beauty that everyone had been talking about.  So many metres up and many many twisty roads later we arrived near the top of the mountain and we are standing at the viewing point and I  just thought WOW! How amazing and creative our awesome God is. 

It got me thinking about the verse in  1 Corinthians 2 v 9 where it says “However it is written:  “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him”.  If our Creator can create such beauty for us to enjoy around us then how much more has He an amazing plan for those who love Him and put their trust in Him.  Similarly if He has created such wonders for us to enjoy in this fallen world of ours, how much more AMAZING will heaven be when we go home to be with our Saviour-have a think about it! Breathtaking, isn’t it?
