Sorry there has not been a post in a while but we have been very busy in headquarters getting resources ready for the new year.  By now most of you will probably be back at GB and we hope that you are loving it already!

Perhaps you have already had a sneak preview of the Scripture course this year and are excited about what you are going to be learning in your scripture class.  For those of you who have not had that opportunity yet, the course is called Inspire.  The Brigader journals look great and they are really colourful with lots ot do inside.  The theme itself is very exciting as it looks at the ways in which you can inspire the people around you and is based on a Bible verse from 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”  This verse is so challenging because it seems like a lot for a young person to do, but over your time doing the course you will be looking at issues such as God’s promises, white lies, gossip, bad language, love, faith and image and hopefully by the end you will see what an impact you could have amongst your friends and family.

We hope and pray that God will challenge you through the course and reveal Himself to you in new and exciting ways.  Remember to let us know what you think of the course!!!

PS.  Now that everyone has started back at Girls’ Brigade, I hope that the posts on this blog will be regular again- especially as I will have some help in writing it!  (have a look next week to see who else will be contributing).
