WordLive
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I find it hard to find the time, and the discipline to read my bible everyday. Work or school or friends or TV get in the way, and I don’t always spend the time I should reading God’s word.
One thing that I have found very useful is a resource from Scripture Union called WordLive. You can find this by clicking on the link at the side of this page, or just search WordLive in Google. They describe their website as a place which, “allows you to step into a multi-media Bible reading experience and deepen your relationship with God.”
Everyday you can go to the website (you could set it as your homepage) and it suggests a prayer and a Bible reading, followed by videos, creative prayer and a deeper Bible study. You can sign up to receive daily texts, emails or even a podcast, so no matter what you are doing, or where you are, you will always have your Bible reading material with you. At the moment they are looking at a different Psalm every Sunday, and on Monday are starting a series on the book of James.
Signing up is free, so why not take just a few minutes and give it a go, or just go and look at the website, as there are loads of resources for you to look through. I think that it is great that through technology like this we can deepen our relationship with God.
Love from Sarah
