R U in a bad mood?
We have all had those days. Maybe something isn’t going well, someone is annoying you, you missed the bus & your yoghurt spat down your uniform & you lost your favourite pen & you have a French Vocabualary Exam….. or maybe everything is perfectly fine but you are just grumpy and everyone is doing your head in!
Question: How do we cope with those days as Christians?
Answer: Spend time reading your Bible and praying.
That may seem like the cliche answer for everything, but it really is true. This is not because reading the Bible has some magical powers that suddenly make you feel better, but rather by reading God’s word we lift our minds from ourselves and onto God. By reading words that He has inspired we are hearing His voice, and don’t you always feel better when you hear the voice of someone who loves you?
By praying, we can leave all our problems with God. Sometimes God will answer our prayers straight away with a ‘yes’ or a ‘no,’ but sometimes it is not the right time for us to get an answer. But again, don’t you usually feel better about something when you talk to a friend about the problem?
So, when you are having a bad day, turn to your best friend/your Heavenly Father, who also happens to be the Creator of the Universe, and who loves you much more than you can ever comprehend!!
