We are the youngest group in the Girls’ Brigade and we have lots of fun every week in our Companies. To join the Explorer section you must be at least 3 years old. Some companies will take new starts as soon as they are 3 year s old and others will only take new starts if they are 3 on or before the 1st July each year.

Explorers are the ‘STARS’ in GB and earn STAR badges. Here’s what they like to do:

• Play games
• Dress up
• Sing songs
• Make things – especially messy things!
• Run around
• Paint and draw
• Listen to Bible stories
• Go on special outings to the zoo or a farm

Explorers are divided into different age groups ~ Under 5s and 5-7s so that we can make friends with girls around the same age.

We have our own uniform so we are really special! Explorers wear a navy tunic with a bright red jumper. When we’re playing games we wear a white blouse instead.
