Focus on Prayer
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

- Give Thanks:
For the gift of Easter and the risen Lord.
For the session of GB that is coming to an end.
For all the girls who have met Jesus during their time at GB and for those who have been encouraged in their faith.
For the thousands of girls who commit to coming along to GB week after week. Ask God to protect, encourage and challenge them over the months when they are not at GB.
For the thousands of Officers and helpers who give up their precious time each week to help girls seek, serve and follow Christ. Pray that God would richly bless, refresh and encourage them during the Summer months and envision them for the 2012/13 session of Girls' Brigade.
For the Senior/Brigader worship event, Wrapped Up. Thank God for the girls who were touched at the event and ask Him to continue to be at work in all the hearts of the girls and leaders who were attending that they would know God's love in a deeper way through what they heard.
Please Pray for:
All the members of GB both girls and leaders who are preparing for their displays. Ask God to give the girls confidence to perform whatever they are doing and also that parents and family who attend the display's and parent's evenings would encounter something of God's love and grace through what they see.
The District AGMS that are coming up. Ask God to be with all those who attend and help them to be inspired and encouraged by those around them. Help them and give them a vision as they prepare for the year ahead.
All those girls/women who are preparing to train to become Sub-Officers and Officers for GBNI. Ask God to excite them about their role in leadership and challenge them to seek, serve and follow Christ in their everyday lives.
That the girls would continue to be challenged through what God has been saying to them throughout this year's Scripture class. Ask God to guide those on the spiritual course working teams and to give them inspiration and ideas for the Women of the Bible course for next year.
For safety for the girls who will be taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh expeditions in the summer months.
For those girls who are preparing for the Queen's Award final interviews. Ask the Lord to give them the courage and confidence they need to do their very best.
For all our girls who will be doing exams in the next few months, particularly those who will be doing GCSEs, A-Levels and University exams. Pray the girls would know God's peace as they study and that they will grow in their relationship with Him as they prepare for these exams.
For all the girls and Officers who are struggling at this time either through family sickness/bereavement, family breakdown/conflict, financial difficulties. Ask God to draw close to all these members and that they would know His hand upon their situation and they would experience Father God in these difficult days.
For all the events that are coming up in the next few months, the Junior Zoo day, the NI Explorer Teams final, the 4 event (BB/GB worship event),
the community relations weekends, the Wave of Prayer and the Beauty for Brokenness weekend (GB Europe). Ask God to be in all the practical preparations and for all those involved in planning these events. Pray that they would all be well attended and that those who participate in them would encounter our living Lord.
For the election of the new GBNI President. Ask the Lord to give those who are voting guidance and wisdom as they choose the next woman of God who will be leading the organisation as President.
For the staff at GBHQ and the teams they work with as they plan ahead for the next session. Ask God to be with them as they seek Him, serve Him and Follow Him.
For the leadership in GB, for the Executive and the Brigade Council. Ask God to guide them, envision them and help them as they guide this organisation. Pray for wisdom and discernment as well as courage as they make decisions.
