The 2009/2010 session has been designated, by GBNI Executive, as a Focus on Prayer Year. We encourage you to join with others in GB in prayer -please use these prayer points to inform you on specific prayer needs. These prayer points will be regularly updated.

• During the winter, please pray for safety for every company as they meet, for travelling safety and for protection from all the sickness prevalent at this time of year.
  
  As companies near the end of the 09/10 Scripture Course, please pray that many girls will come to ‘encounter’ Jesus’ love in their lives, in a relevant and dynamic way. Please also pray for the Spiritual Team as they prepare the course for 10/11.
  
  Please pray for all the girls who will be completing their Queen’s Award Study Papers and final interviews throughout March and April.
  
  For the finals of our Northern Ireland PE and Sport Competitions, please pray for safety at the events and that spectators will catch a glimpse of God as the girls and leaders act out their faith.
  
  Please keep GEMS in your prayers:
  Pray that more girls will hear the message of GEMS and get more deeply involved in GB through GEMS, either by signing up for the e-newsletter or by attending our February 24th Meeting.
  Pray that the free ‘Spiritual Sprinkles’ books will help our Brigaders in their walk with God.
  Pray that girls will be moved to attend the Fizz Information Night, that those girls will be inspired to serve God through teams this summer and that they will seek and receive God’s guidance as they make their decisions.
  
  Please continue to support NICFC in your prayer times. Due to the scheduling of clinics in Northern Ireland, it is on Wednesdays that children and parents will hear the dreaded diagnosis of cancer. Please pray for strength for those families and that they will find hope in God’s salvation in their darkest hours.
  
  The Jan EF meeting was cancelled due to bad weather. Please support Vivienne Atchison, our EF Chair, in prayer as she co-ordinates the activities of GB Europe from afar. Pray also for the ICGB delegates preparing for the conference in Malaysia this summer, and finally please pray that the new GB Europe Youth Blog ‘Connect’ will aid communication across the fellowship.
